I went to hire a car thinking I hired it through Devonport Airport. I hired a car for around 260 online through a company called Airport rentals. Arrived at the airport and there was no record at Europcar that I had paid them. We later found out that the company charged me only for insurance and not the car! I demanded my money back and poor Adam at the airport had to wait while phone calls were going back and forth to get it sorted out. Beware of third parties trying to make money off you! Go through the company directly! It was a very messy situation. Adam was very kind at helping me and gave me the same rate for 14 days. Thank you Adam for helping me and making sure I was looked after! I will now enjoy my time here in Tasmania.
