Service was great, food was ok. Good atmosphere and location.
I have very mixed views about this hotel. Our reception upon arrival after a long drive from Devonport was not what one would expect. The room was very dated but it was clean and the view was good. The hotel was on a very steep hill which made getting to and from it very difficult. The shower had a good water pressure but water went all over the floor when showering and there was no where to put ones bathroom accessories. The bed was very comfortable. On our check out day the housekeeping staff knocked on our door at 9.30 am to do our room. They had no right to do that as check out time was 10.00 am.
Staff were rude, food was bellow average, they were stingey with the rice. The steak was burnt to death, and we felt that we weren't welcome.
Meal was good. Quick service. Lunch time menu Fishermans Basket was very nice
Had a very enjoy able meal. The staff were great and the owner warm, friendly and very welcoming. Food tasted lovely, both mains and desserts. We didnt wait very long once we ordered for the food to arrive. Decor was very nice and everything was spotless.
